Pappi Lighting was formed in 1982 in response to a program requiring the design and manufacture of an outdoor canopy continuous surface illumination system. Peter Shewchuk’s design was selected and Pappi Lighting was awarded the contract for all Petro Canada locations across North America. Since the introduction of our linear lighting system Pappi Lighting has supplied miles of LO-PRO from the Yukon to Busch Gardens, Florida. Our product line has expanded to include classic and modern area lighting designs with high performance reflectors and durable extruded aluminum housings. X-TRON extruded aluminum poles are designed to compliment our luminaires. For precise color matching, our poles are manufactured with the same aluminum alloy found in all Pappi luminaires.

Understanding the advantages and limitations is the primary function of design. Pappi products reflect the knowledge that form must follow function. We manufacture luminaires based on our experience, working with aluminum and the restless imagination of master designer Peter Shewchuk. All of our products share the benefits of our innovative ‘No-Weld’ fabrication techniques and an exacting attention to even the smallest details. Materials are selected for strength and durability, fabrication methods to maximize the properties inherent within the materials.
